Join us as a Youth Advisory Board Advocate, and take an active role in shaping your community! This volunteer opportunity focuses on leadership development, fostering community engagement, and college and career success. As a advocate, you will collaborate with peers, share your insights, and help design initiatives that empower teens in our community to thrive. Bring your passion and creativity to make a lasting impact! The board will meet every other Tuesday evening, starting August 28, at the SwedishAmerican Riverfront YMCA from 7:00-8:00 pm.  This is an annual, year-round commitment. As a volunteer advocate at the YMCA you will be invited to interview for this volunteer role. All advocates are asked to complete a national background check, and child abuse prevention and protection training.
