Support active older adults in our community build connections through relationships and events. The ambassador will help identify activities and events for our AOA community and bring these events to life. As a volunteer ambassador at the YMCA you will be invited to interview for this volunteer role. All ambassadors are asked to complete a national background check, and child abuse prevention and protection training. The age requirement for ambassador volunteers is 16 years of age or older. The YMCA is proud to partner with Kids Spot. The Y is the starting point for many children to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they’ll carry with them throughout their lives. As an Ambassador volunteer you will help kids reach their full potential by providing a safe, fun, and encouraging environment for kids to learn gymnastics, build confidence, and make new friends. Gymnastics Ambassadors must be referred to the YMCA by Kids Spot. As a youth sports volunteer ambassador at the YMCA you will be invited to interview for this volunteer role. All ambassadors are asked to complete a national background check, CDC concussion training and child abuse prevention and protection training.
