As a volunteer ambassador, you play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere where families enjoy quality time, strengthening their bonds through shared experiences. Your enthusiasm will help foster teamwork and friendly competition, providing valuable social skills to children and parents alike. By volunteering, you’ll not only contribute to a memorable community event, but you’ll also gain a rewarding experience as you witness the joy and positive relationships that form. As a volunteer ambassador at the YMCA you will be invited to interview for this volunteer role. All ambassadors are asked to complete a national background check, and child abuse prevention and protection training. A valid ID is required as a part of our on-site intake process.
